Teachers deserve excellent working conditions so they can be the best educators for our children. We want Alberta teachers to know that we support them in their labour negotiations.

My name is First Lastname. As your constituent, I’m calling/writing to express my concern about the back to work legislation that will force teachers to accept an unacceptable compromise on their working conditions and (my) kids learning conditions.
The use of the notwithstanding clause to override teachers right to strike for a better contract is a scary authoritarian response. It’s not okay, and I do not support it. This measure telegraphs intent for future abuses of rights and freedoms.
