This week it was brought to our attention that a member of our community has been under investigation (in relation to a serious transgression by another community member) for some time. This was unknown to the board when this individual was involved in running an event last year; we are truly sorry for the hurt and any concerns this caused for members of our community.
We are unsure how this information did not reach us, and we take full accountability for our failure to keep that event as safe as we aspired to. Rest assured that this individual is not welcome at future events.
The safety of our community is our top priority, and we will not hesitate to act in accordance with our anti-harassment policy to protect the safety and comfort of our guests. Please let us know if you have any safety concerns about any of our events, we will work together to make sure that everyone has a great time!

We reserve the right to take any actions, including lifetime bans from PANFEST, to ensure our event is welcoming for all. We take every report of harassment extremely seriously.
