You probably expected this. It’s true, PANFEST 2020 is cancelled.
Your PANFEST Board has been closely watching how long the expected restrictions on large gatherings would be in place. The risk assessment results pointed us here:
PANFEST has never been a place for social or physical distancing; so trying to put on our beloved, huggy, festival while trying to follow strict public health guidelines would have been impossible.
Our amazing camp site has also cancelled our booking and that is the final factor in this decision.
At the same time, we will need something to fill the hole in our summer.
We will need connection with our PANFEST family, with nature and sky and earth.
Please consider a small camping trip to your backyard (or a friend’s) this August long weekend.
Pack a reusable mug, bug spray and a chair.
Hug your beloveds, drink powdered lemonade and admire the dragonflies.
Think of us, connected even while far apart, also under that sky. Sing the songs and be good to each other.
