Why I Volunteer at the Stadium

I volunteer for so many reasons – to raise money for Panfest, to give myself credits toward my own registration, and to get a free meal while hanging out with some of my best friends.

All training and uniforms are provided, as well as a special ticket that gets you free public transit before and after the game. Are you happiest when you’re feeding people? There are lots of kitchen positions. Do you shine with the public? We need cashiers too. If you’re 18 or over, we will help you get ProServe certification that entitles you to legally serve alcohol – totally FREE of charge and it can open the doors to other employment and volunteer opportunities.

It can be hard work, but there is also laughter and camaraderie, and at the end of the night I walk out of there feeling like I’ve done something for my community – both my Panfest family and the community at large.
